eMusicTheory.com Subscriber Agreement

Please read this carefully before you subscribe, to make sure you understand this service.  By subscribing, you indicate that you have read and accepted these terms.

1.  Your Responsibilities

Your Password: As a subscriber, you are responsible for keeping your password secret.  Change your password immediately and notify support anytime you think anyone else might have learned your password.  If you do not memorize your password, make sure it is written in a safe place.  Be sure to use a password that cannot be guessed, such as your birth date or pet's name, or any word found in a dictionary.

Your Information: You are responsible for keeping the personal information in your subscription (such as email address, mailing address, and phone) accurate and current.  You are also responsible for managing some of the other information in your account.  When you delete assignments and students, those records are erased, and sometimes cannot be retrieved.

2.  Support

EMusicTheory is not a business with a large staff.   Because of this limitation:

(i) Requests for support are normally answered via email within a few hours, but may take as long as 2 days.
(ii) Direct telephone support is not available (though we'll call you when it makes sense sort out a problem, and voicemail with callback is available for billing questions).
(iii) Simple, commonly-asked questions are often answered in the help topics available on each page -- just click the question mark in the upper right to see if your question is answered.

3.  Disclaimer of Warranties

[Some legal mumbo-jumbo....  Summary: EMusicTheory WILL work to create a useful service that is reliable, error-free, and secure, but cannot guarantee that everything will always work, all of the time.  If you plan classtime working with your students on the website, you should have a backup plan just in case.]
